Ms. Alexa is originally from Iowa.  She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising at Northwest Missouri State University and has earned a Director's Certification, Lead Teacher Certification and Group Leader Certification in Early Childhood Education from Colorado Mountain College.  She also holds her Montessori Assistant Teacher Training Certificate from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies.

Ms. Alexa has called Eagle County home for 10 years and currently lives in Dotsero with her husband, their two children, their dog Darla and their cat Tux.

Ms. Alexa is passionate about protecting the environment and teaching children how to create a lasting bond with the Earth.  She loves gardening, hiking, camping, snowboarding and adventuring with her children and students.
